I used this header for the site for approximately seven months, until November 4, 2014.

The Brownie has some lens distortions which I like. It’s also hardly possible to know exactly what you shoot, so there’s quite a large error margin. Apparently I left the camera for a long time before I shot this photo, as it’s quite dusty. I always turn the wheel so the next photo can be taken immediately (and so you know you’re not shooting over another pic). This means that when you leave it for a while, dust will aggregate on the film. Hence: dust!

The camera is – unfortunately – out of focus. But sometimes out of focus is just as nice.

After the standard WordPress Twenty Ten-theme just broke down with the latest update, I decided updating to Twenty Thirteen might be a good plan. But, of course, the header size is different…

This roll film picture was shot using an Agfa Rekord II.

Unclear where this picture comes from. Ok, from a 120 roll film using the Agfa Rekord II camera, but that's about it!

Set on the seventh platform on Utrecht Central Station. Somewhere in 2011 during the big renovation. Right now this platform has a new roof covered in Solar cells. I am not sure which Polaroid camera I used here. It may be the SX-70 folding camera or the 660 autofocus.

This photo, shot using a (1927?) Kodak Brownie No. 2 Hawk-Eye Model B, shows the entrance of a small industrial zone in the middle of the Amsterdam Zuid area, just behind the Haarlemmermeerstation.

I took this photo using a Venaret box style camera, build somewhere around 1949. It was a Dutch brand, originating in Amsterdam and using 120 film.

I use different headers every now and then. The initial plan was to change them every two weeks, but that didn’t happen.

They’re usually crops from personal photographs. I am not one hundred percent sure if they’re in the correct order… But that’s not very important I think ;)

First personal header on my blog (I think)
